As music streaming services compete for more market share, one of the most important weapons in the battle is recommended playlists – self-created menus that give users the difficulty to choose songs and show them, new artists.

YouTube Music has launched a new playlist called Released, which seems to match directly with Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.

As the name of the list indicates, it includes 50 newly released songs, and the existing service is described as the top 50 this week, and is presented to you every Friday,

Apple Music has published a playlist called New Music Daily, which aims to keep subscribers up to date with the latest songs of the world’s most famous artists.

Apple describes the playlist as providing the latest songs that the user must listen to, updated daily, and includes more than 80 songs with a total uptime of about five hours.

The new playlist replaces The Best of the Week, one of the playlists updated weekly.

As with any playlist that is automatically updated, the user must save songs in their own library if they want to remember what they are because they are replaced every day or every week.
